Meralco on standby 24/7 for potential power issues this Christmas
Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) said its crews are ready around the clock to respond to any electricity issues or power outages this holiday season.
In an advisory on Monday, the power distributor assured its 8 million customers that its personnel will be ready to attend to emergencies during the holidays.

“We are reminding our customers to do their part in ensuring a bright and merry holiday season by practicing electrical safety,” Meralco vice president and head of Corporate Communications Joe Zaldarriaga said.
“Rest assured, contingency measures are in place, and our crews are on standby ready to respond to any concern [about] our electricity service,” he added.
