Entrepreneur and social media personality Nico Bolzico is officially the newest face of Security Bank, tasked with endorsing the financial institution campaigning for BetterBanking for every Filipino.
“For my personal needs, the bank is always there. Security Bank has been incredible,” Bolzico said during a signing ceremony on Monday.
The online sensation known for his wit and humor said he appreciates that the bank also champions the small and medium enterprises (SMEs), including his ventures. Bolzico owns Bolzico Beef and runs Chingolo Deli with brother-in-law Erwan Heussaff.
Joining Bolzico is his wife Solenn Heussaff—an actress and a painter—who praised the bank for having a customer-friendly digital app so everyone can easily navigate it when doing transactions. She also commended Security Bank for producing debit and credit cards made from recycled plastic, highlighting the need for sustainability initiatives.
Erwan, who has been with the bank since 2012, also reaffirmed his commitment with Security Bank. The man behind The Fat Kid Inside Studios said the bank had been the “perfect partner” for his personal and business needs. —Tyrone Jasper C. Piad
Another Ayala museum rises
The Ayala Group continues the celebration of its 190th year and the 50th anniversary of Ayala Museum with the opening of yet another public space dedicated to the arts.
The Contemporary Art Center will rise in Circuit Makati and will be taken under the wing of Ayala Foundation, which manages both the Ayala Museum and Filipino Heritage Library.
Biz Buzz sources say that the center dedicated to contemporary art will be the “epitome of new”, and will be open to an entire range of ways to express contemporary creativity, from live performances to immersive installations and digital art.
The Contemporary Art Center will also give visitors of Circuit Makati another option to satisfy their need for a jolt of creativity as it will be located alongside other art venues such as the Samsung Performance Arts Theatre and the PowerMac Black Box Theatre.
This should then further enhance Circuit Makati’s reputation as a top destination for culture that can be enjoyed by all ages and all artistic persuasions.
The building was designed by globally renowned architect Kulapat Yantrasast and his firm, WHY Architecture, in partnership with Lor Calma & Partners. —Tina Arceo-Dumlao
