When Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel was presented with the first Casio Edifice Red Bull Racing Limited Edition watch at his home race in Nürburgring, Germany, last year, it signaled the continuing brand alliance between two brands that have been synonymous with innovative marketing and passion for motorsports. The new Casio Edifice model represents Casio’s advanced digital chronograph engineering but executed with analogue face to give it a touch of tradition. The limited edition watch offers Smart Access technology, allowing all its features to be accessed through the single crown switch and radio-controlled timekeeping that is synchronized by six atomic clock stations positioned across the globe.

Powered by the sun’s solar energy, the watch was proudly introduced by Red Bull Racing’s Team Principal Christian Horner who, together with F1 legend David Coulthard and Vettel, said: “The EDIFICE is all you need in a watch—and it’s particularly useful on the pit wall at a race! Precision and timing dominate our grand prix weekends around the world, and the Casio Edifice Red Bull Racing watch shares the investment in technology which drives Red Bull Racing. The new watch is a welcome addition to our long-standing partnership.”

The Casio Edifice Red Bull Racing Limited Edition went on worldwide late last year and due to its limited quantities, most of the watches were already snapped up by local Formula One and watch enthusiasts. Casio lovers need not fret, however, as the Edifice collection offers a wide choice of models with various technological functions to choose from. Casio is distributed in the country by Time Depot, offering a complete line up of Casio collections ranging from the Baby-G, G-Shock, Sheen and Edifice models as well as other active lifestyle watch brands like Protrek, Nautica, Marc Ecko and Suunto.

Check out the Casio Edifice collection and exhibit at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2012 at the World Trade Center and Philippine Trade Training Center from March 29 to April 1, 2012.
