LPG prices to rise by 80 centavos per kilogram on October 1

Filipino households will have to pay more for cooking gas this October due to an upward adjustment for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) set on Tuesday.

Oil company Petron said LPG prices would climb by 80 centavos per kilogram. Meanwhile, Solane, in a separate advisory, said its LPG price is higher at 82 centavos a kilogram.

“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of October,” Petron said.

In September, oil firms also implemented a price increase of 55 centavos per kilogram for household LPG.
