Search for ‘champions’ launched

The Philippine Daily Inquirer and renowned international market research firm Statista are looking for champions.

But not Olympian caliber people who can run or swim fastest, leap highest or jump broadest, punch hardest and throw farthest; not Carlos Yulo or Simone Biles type who can combine agility and grace while performing complex gymnastic routines.

What the Inquirer and Statista are looking for are champions who, like the Olympians, have distinguished themselves for their perseverance, industry, commitment and grit.

While the participation procedure is simple, the rewards for those who will be included in the Philippines’ Growth Champions 2025 are immense.

New business opportunities: An inclusion in ranking is a visible and public acknowledgement of a company’s performance that extends far beyond its specific industry and country. It will also generate attention for the business on the part of potential partners, customers, and investors around the world.

Employer branding: Corporate growth usually generates demand for new employees. Being featured in the high-profile ranking of the Philippine Daily Inquirer will not only increase awareness of the company as an employer, it also gives potential employees an understanding of the company’s future potential.

Effective media coverage: Companies that manage to secure a position in the ranking will be listed on www.inquirer.net. They will also be featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Reputation: All companies that make it into the list may use the award logo for marketing purposes. This logo and the use for marketing purposes are subject to a licensing fee.

To be included in the ranking, a company must meet the following criteria:

Revenue of at least P5,000,000 generated in 2020

Revenue of at least P30,000,000 generated in 2023

Be independent (the applying company acts largely independently in its business decisions and does not receive significant sales from parent or related companies)

Be headquartered in the Philippines

The revenue growth between 2020 and 2023 was primarily organic (i.e. “internally” stimulated)

Revenue data submitted has to be verified. A form is provided for this purpose that must be signed in person by a Managing Director or a member of the company’s Executive Committee (CEO or CFO).

The submission process entails uploading the completed form to Statista via a link provided in the confirmation email. All necessary address details can be found on the form.
