MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) posted a revenue collection of at least P4.6 billion for the first half of 2024.
In a statement, the LTO-NCR said its collection of P4,674,616,188 from January to June is 2.70 percent higher than its P4,551,572,083 collection in the same period last year.
LTO-NCR Chief of Financial Management Division Annabelle Quevedo attributed the increase to significant revenue collections in January, February, April, and May, which comprised around P3.22 billion or 70.80 percent of the total earnings in the first half of the year.

The official also said that most of the collections came from registration and licensing, with revenues amounting to P4,141,435,851 and P475,251,692, respectively.
The LTO-NCR Law Enforcement and Traffic Adjudication System likewise contributed P49,481,080 while its Motor Vehicle Inspection Center added P8,447,565 to the total revenue collection.

LTO-NCR Regional Director Roque Verzosa III vowed to maintain revenue growth for the second half of 2024.
“We appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of all LTO-NCR employees who have contributed to the growth of our revenue collection in the first half of the year. Asahan nyo (Rest assured that) we will strive harder to maintain our revenue growth for the second half of 2024,” he said in the same statement.
