Globe launches payroll with insurance service

Globe Telecom, through mobile commerce subsidiary G-Xchange Inc. (GXI), recently launched a first in the industry – a salary disbursement service linked to the leading mobile wallet in the Philippines, which comes with insurance coverage.

The new GCash PowerPay+ allows employees to receive their salaries on their mobile phones and withdraw from any of the 9,000 ATMs in the country using their PowerPay+ ATM card or cash out their money at any of the 6,000 GCash outlets nationwide.

The GCash PowerPay+ insurance bundle covers life, accidental death, burial assistance, ATM theft and residential fire.
