MANILA, Philippines—Philippines’ Air Asia is offering a P275 “all-in fares” promotion to Kalibo and Davao when it flies for the first time from its hub in Clark, Pampanga next month.
The P275 one way “all-in fares” promo started today, Tuesday, and will last until March 4 for the travel period starting March 28 to January 31.
A total of 20,000 seats will be up for grabs during the six-day promo period, the airline said in a statement.
“The P275 seat sale is actually a zero-fare promo where the seat is totally free and the guest is actually paying only P275 to cover the fuel surcharge, processing fee and government mandated fees such as aviation security fee and VAT (value-added-tax),” it said.
The airline will officially start its operations on March 28 with two daily flights departing from Clark International Airport to Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao and Kalibo International Airport.
“Transparency will be the hallmark of our brand of low cost, high value travel. We want to show what our passengers are actually paying for and not disappoint them with hidden charges or misleading promotion,” said AirAsia’s chief executive officer, Marianne Hontiveros in the same statement.
“In celebration of our very first promo in the Philippines, there are a total of 20,000 free seats up for grabs,” said Hontiveros.
“The hype has been building up for Philippines’ AirAsia and today’s announcement is a much anticipated event by Filipinos all around, particularly the community in Clark where we based our operations as well as in Northern and Central Luzon. We are thrilled to offer an extraordinary fare to commemorate our launch. We look forward to personally welcoming our guests on our brand new, state-of-the-art Airbus A320 when we commence operations on the 28th of March,” she added.
The “all-in fares” promo, the airline said, are available online at www.airasia.com and via mobile at mobile.airasia.com or via AirAsia apps for Blackberry, iPhone and Android phones.
