Megaworld’s GERI earmarks P5B for beachside golf estate in Batangas

MANILA, Philippines – Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (GERI), a subsidiary of Megaworld, is developing a 150-hectare beachside property in Lian, Batangas.

The company is setting aside an initial P5 billion for the development of Lialto Beach and Golf Estates in the next 10 years, Megaworld said in a statement.

Lialto Beach and Golf Estates will be a modern eco-minimalist community set on a highland that offers panoramic views of the sea and nearby islands.  It will feature a residential village surrounded by an 18-hole golf course by the bay.

Highlights include a residential village with lot sizes ranging from 300 to 1,200 square meters, a world-class golf course, landscaped gardens, and nearly a kilometer of coastline.

It also features an exclusive Beach Clubhouse, inspired by modern Italian aesthetics. It will provide residents and their guests with stunning sunset views, a resort-inspired lobby, swimming pools with cabanas, a children’s playground, sports facilities, and a viewing deck.

Commitment to sustainability

“Lialto, from ‘Lian’ and ‘Alto,’ reflects its elevated location in Batangas. This development offers beautiful vistas of the beach and sea, alongside an unparalleled golf lifestyle. It’s designed for families, retirees, and investors seeking a sustainable, engaging community,” said Javier Romeo Abustan, vice president of sales and marketing at Megaworld Global-Estate, Inc.

As a commitment to sustainability, Megaworld said, Lialto Beach and Golf Estates will feature solar-powered streetlights and a mangrove-protected marine sanctuary.
