Bongbong Marcos bullish on PH economic prospects

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. remains confident the Philippine economy is not only growing but even thriving.

Speaking to foreign diplomats and business leaders at the Indo-Pacific Business Forum in Bonifacio Global City in the City of Taguig, Marcos touted the economic measures that his administration is implementing.

“The Philippine economy is not just growing, but it is also thriving. In fact, we are one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, we are committed to fostering and continuing this momentum,” the President said in his speech.

“We will continue to formulate transformative reforms to ensure a conducive business environment, and cultivate a skilled and competitive workforce to drive industrial transformation,” he added.

Marcos said these efforts have helped attract foreign investments that fuel the country’s economy.

“As we forge international collaborations and trade agreements, we create stronger economic ties with nations across the globe. Therefore, I am confident to be able to say that the Philippines stands at a pivotal moment in its economic journey,” said Marcos.
