The 21st Kalachuchi Classic, held recently at Calatagan Golf Club, was a showcase of top-tier golfing talent and sportsmanship, doubling as a qualifying event for the WAGC Philippines National Finals. Among the many skilled players, Jean Henri Lhuillier and his partner Richie Santos stood out, clinching the Overall Team Net Champion title with an outstanding score of 48. Their performance not only highlighted their mastery of the game but also secured their spot in the upcoming national finals in Cebu.
Jean Henri Lhuillier, known for his strategic approach and consistency on the golf course, enthused: “Our goal was not just to participate but to excel. Scoring 48 and winning here today underscores our commitment and passion for golf. We’re looking forward to representing our club at the national level and bringing more honors home.”
While Lhuillier and Santos took the spotlight, the tournament also saw impressive performances across other categories. Joanne Cortez and Jeffren Lumbo won the Overall Team Gross Champion title with a score of 52, and several other golfers excelled in various divisions, demonstrating the depth of talent present at the event. Notably, Enrique Anthony Filamor and Efrain Pedregosa captured the Division 1 title, while Angela Anila and Renalyn David dominated the Ladies category.
