MANILA, Philippines – Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC), the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, on Thursday said it is set to launch its new economic estate in the province of Tarlac next month, bringing the number of its industrial zones to four.
The company said the establishment of the TARI Estate, which spans 200 hectares, was fueled by Central Luzon’s exceptional accessibility, ample skilled workforce, and rapidly expanding economy.
“Our expansion into Tarlac reflects our confidence in Central Luzon’s potential as a premier investment destination and our support for the government’s initiatives,” AIC Economic Estates head Rafael P. Fernandez de Mesa said in a statement.
AIC cited in particular the seamless inter-regional connectivity in the area, noting major expressways such as the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), and the Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX).
AIC said the forthcoming economic estate will house prime industrial lots in its initial phase, which are open to local and international investors.
World-class industrial facilities
It added that Aboitiz Group affiliates are also involved in the development and that a wide range of services such as power, water, construction, housing, smart city technology, and government support will be integrated into the economic hub.
“We’re eager to cultivate a community where world-class industrial facilities coexist harmoniously with a vibrant lifestyle hub, fostering growth for both businesses and the lives of those who make them thrive,” Fernandez de Mesa said.

“We foresee that our investment will catalyze a ripple effect of progress, delivering benefits not only to the local community but also to the nation at large,” he added.
To date, the AIC has three other economic estates, the largest of which is the 826-hectare LIMA (Lipa-Malvar) Estate in Batangas.
The others, both of which are located in Cebu, are the 540-hectare West Cebu Estate in the town Balamban and the 63-hectare Mactan Economic Zone 2 Estate at the Mactan Cebu International Airport.
