MANILA, Philippines  – Players of Axie Infinity, a blockchain-based game that rose to popularity during the pandemic, can now convert their cryptocurrency assets into fiat money via e-wallet brand GCash, providing another portal where they can cash in their earnings.

On Tuesday, the Ayala-led company announced its partnership with Axie Infinity, beefing up its blockchain footprint after launching GCrypto last year.
