Tune Hotel opens in Angeles
ANGELES CITY, Philippines—International budget hotel chain Tune Hotels opened its 165-room branch along Don Juico Avenue here last week.
Mark Armsden, senior vice president for sales and marketing of Red Planet Hotels Ltd., said Tune Hotel here would give its customers choices according to their actual needs. Red Planet develops and operates its own limited-service hotels under a franchise agreement with Tune Hotels.
Armsden said the basic rate for a standard room is P500.
“Optional add-ons will also be available. If the guest wants to have a cable TV (television), he will pay extra. If he wants air conditioning or Wi-Fi (connection) or towels and toiletries, he will pay for these. But if the guest doesn’t really need these, he doesn’t have to pay for these. What we basically offer to our customers is a nice, clean, safe and secured place to stay,” Armsden said.
The rates for add-on services are P200 to P350 for air conditioning, P130 for cable TV, P120 to P240 for Wi-Fi and P90 for a towel and toiletries kit.
