Gasoline price up by 45¢/liter, diesel down by P1.25
MANILA -The pump price of gasoline will increase by 45 centavos per liter on Tuesday, Oct. 31, while diesel prices will go down by P1.25 per liter, local oil companies announced on Monday.
In separate advisories, the oil firms likewise said the price of kerosene would decline by P1.20 per liter.
Seaoil and Shell will implement the price adjustments by 6 a.m.
This marks the second consecutive week of price increases for gasoline.
Last week, pump prices rose by 95 centavos per liter for gasoline, P1.30 per liter for diesel and P1.25 per liter for kerosene.
Article continues after this advertisementThis resulted in a year-to-date net increase of P13.75 per liter for gasoline, P11.70 per liter for diesel, and P6.24 per liter for kerosene, according to the Department of Energy (DOE).
DOE data show that as of Oct. 26, prevailing retail prices in Metro Manila ranged from P57.65 per liter to P86.40 per liter.
