HREA is an international program organized by Singapore-based Human Resources Online, a leading international organization that honors and celebrates distinguished companies in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Thailand with outstanding work in employee engagement.
Renato Jiao, Chief Human Resource Officer at Globe, said the Globe Group’s nine awards reflect the company’s commendable practices as an employer.
“We are thankful to Human Resources Online for these honors that recognize the tireless work of our HR team, who is unwavering in advocating for our people. These wins, which cover the many facets of HR work, prove how deeply we care for our people. We are ever more inspired to keep changing the game!” Jiao said.
HREA honors the best-in-class HR teams and individuals for their work executed across the entire HR function. The awards aim to bring together talented HR professionals as one force to champion the way forward. It is also the region’s only HR awards peer-reviewed by a jury of esteemed HR practitioners and thought leaders who set the highest standards.
Last year, Globe was declared the overall Philippine winner at the HREA as it bagged six citations for its commendable practices as an employer. Globe became the first Philippine organization to be honored with the title after receiving three Gold Awards for Employee Engagement, COVID-19 Response, and Employer of the Year. It was also feted with a Silver Award for HR Communication Strategy and a Bronze Award for Crisis Management and Recovery.
