FZA returns to BPI board

MANILA  -Fernando Zobel de Ayala has rejoined the board of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) as a director, replacing Romeo Bernardo who was recently appointed as Monetary Board member.

In a disclosure on Thursday, BPI said Zobel is also a member of the executive committee and personnel and compensation committee.

Zobel was the bank’s vice chair from April 2013 to September 2022, when he resigned from all his posts in the Ayala Group to focus on his health.   In April this year, he rejoins the bank as adviser.
