Every brand’s best friend: Lazada Group celebrates partnerships at the LazMall 2023 Brands Future Forum

These were among the clear takeaways from the Lazada Group’s signature annual conference, the LazMall 2023 Brands Future Forum (BFF), which was held last August 31 at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands. Since the event’s introduction in 2019, it has served as one of Lazada’s key initiatives and contributions to promoting a healthy and vibrant eCommerce community that will benefit the digital economy across Lazada’s market across Southeast Asia.


Centering on the theme “Plug into the Future of eCommerce: Power up with the LazMall network,” this year’s LazMall BFF became an avenue for industry leaders and Lazada’s partners across Southeast Asia to exchange ideas and innovations that’ll level up their respective brands amidst the ever-evolving eCommerce environment.

As Southeast Asia’s biggest virtual mall, having a wide variety of brand partners and sellers that offer 100% authentic and high-quality products in its arsenal is integral to LazMall. Currently, over 32,000 leading international and local brands are available at LazMall—including powerhouse partners like the Estée Lauder Companies, which has entrusted LazMall with ten of its brands.

Estée Lauder Companies is among the first beauty brands to launch LazMall’s AI and AR-powered Virtual Try-On feature to its customers. This feature enables customers to instantly sample products using live images of themselves before making an actual purchase. With innovative tools, solutions, and emerging technologies like these, both LazMall and its brand partners can offer an upgraded and differentiated shopping experience to customers.

Like the Estée Lauder Companies, many brands continue to entrust their online presence to LazMall—which the Lazada Group is grateful for.

Lazada also honored its LazMall brand partners with the 2023 BFF Awards. 


Local pharmaceutical company Unilab received the prestigious LazMall Local Superstar Award for the Philippines. The award, which recognizes the top performing and most innovative brands per country, was also bestowed upon Hanasui for Indonesia, Oldtown White Coffee for Malaysia, Epitex for Singapore, Sabina for Thailand, and The Cocoon Original Vietnam for Vietnam.

A testament to Lazada’s commitment to supporting businesses is Happy Skin and blk cosmetics—two mainstays in LazBeauty Philippines’ best-selling shops. Makeup brands under the helm of owner and CEO Jacqueline Yuengtian-Gutierrez, Happy Skin and blk cosmetics started in brick-and-mortar stores before setting up shop in Lazada 5 years ago. Since then, the two brands have leveraged the platform to help Filipinos nationwide get access to their quality products at the best prices.
