Regularization on Day 1 for all new hires
Cambridge University Press & Assessment’s office in Manila is thrilled to introduce its “Regular on Day 1” policy effective August 1, 2023. This game-changing policy removes the 6-month probationary period for new employees.
From now on, all new colleagues will start their journey with us as fully-fledged team members, as we say goodbye to the traditional probationary period and provide regularisation from day one.
The move reflects Cambridge University Press & Assessment’s commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment, where everyone’s contributions are valued right from the start.
From day one, new hires can fully enjoy the benefits, growth opportunities, and recognition they deserve. Cambridge provides competitive and inclusive HMO benefits covering parents up to 70 years old (most companies only offer up to 65), children/siblings up to 30 years old (most up to 21 only), and live-in and same-gender partners.
Flexible and hybrid work setup arrangements are also in place to give employees more control of their work schedules and work remotely, leading to improved work-life balance.
Implementing the ‘Regular on Day 1’ policy, even when not mandated by law, demonstrates the organisation’s high level of trust and confidence in new hires from the beginning of their employment journey.
Earlier this year, the Manila office was recognized as a Great Place to Work ® (GPTW) by a global authority on workplace culture. Achieving a 90 percent trust score from our employees on the GPTW survey result is a significant milestone.
