Pru Life UK taps ATRAM Group as local fund manager
Insurance giant Pru Life UK is partnering with homegrown fund manager Atram Group as it gears for further expansion in the Philippines. Pru Life UK has tapped Atram as its local fund manager. This means the insurers’ customers will gain access to the latter’s financial solutions and local market expertise.
“Its expertise and solid track record in asset and wealth management will complement Pru Life UK’s superior selection of funds,” Pru Life UK says in a statement. Under the partnership, the two companies will also codevelop and launch more innovative and customer-centric investment solutions “to further strengthen their investment performance for their customers.”

Rigorous evaluation
The insurer selected Atram “following a rigorous evaluation and approval process” while certain aspects of their tie-up still require regulatory approval. “We are excited to partner with Pru Life UK, the pioneer and leader in investment-linked insurance products.
