Victorias City, BOC tap Landbank’s digital platforms

MANILA  -Land Bank of the Philippines has signed up more partners in its drive to adopt digital platforms, with the local government of Victorias City and the Bureau of Customs (BOC) offering the Link.BizPortal as a channel of payments for transactions with citizens and clients.

As part of efforts to digitalize tax payment collection and enhance public service delivery, the City Government of Victorias is integrating Landbank’s Link.BizPortal with its own Web Service Portal to provide residents convenience in paying for fees related to business permits, real properties, resorts and public market rentals, among other local dues.

“Landbank fully supports the City Government of Victorias in their continued journey toward digitalization,” the state-run bank’s president Lynette Ortiz said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the use of Link.BizPortal for the BOC’s transactions with exporters is one of six work process automation projects that the revenue agency has rolled out.

In partnership with the Landbank, BOC will soon use the Link.BizPortal for its Automated Export Declaration System, which is intended to simplify export processes. INQ
