Cambridge awarded with Great Place to Work® certification in the Philippines

The Manila office of Cambridge University Press & Assessment received the Great Place to Work® certification. The certification is bestowed by the global authority in workplace culture, Great Place to Work®. It recognizes companies around the world that foster a positive and growth-nurturing environment for all their employees. 

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is a global company that operates in more than 50 offices and reaches over 170 countries. Cambridge is a world-leader in assessment, education, research and academic publishing and is an integral part of the prestigious University of Cambridge.

Employees of Cambridge were asked a total of 60 questions in the survey to gauge their sense of credibility, respect, pride, camaraderie, and fairness in the workplace. Marked as a momentous achievement, 90% of employees overall agreed that they were in a workplace worthy of receiving the Great Place to Work® certification.

As a champion in promoting inclusive environment and gender equality, 98% of their employees say that when you join the company you are made to feel welcome. Meanwhile, 98% of their employees feel they are treated fairly, regardless of their sexual orientation and gender. 

Moreover, 97% of their employees are proud to tell others they work at Cambridge. 

This shows that the organization is an ideal workplace that puts its people first and supports them to pursue their potential.

Celebrating 20 Years

Being certified as a Great Place to Work® is an incredible milestone to mark the 20th anniversary of their Manila office. Starting with only a small team of six people in 2003, the office has significantly grown over the past two decades, now with over 900 personnel.

The Cambridge office in Manila is expert in information technology, customer service, HR and finance, shared services, and other business areas.

More than half of Cambridge’s technology teams are based in Manila, making it the organisation’s tech hub. The Manila office has made remarkable contributions to technological innovations to the growth and success of Cambridge.
