MANILA -PLDT Inc. is tapping the expertise of technology provider CSG to provide cloud-based solutions, which can improve cost efficiency of its enterprise business.
In a statement on Thursday, the telco giant said PLDT Enterprise would benefit from CSG’s unified billing and revenue management solution as it can streamline processes across various business segments.
“PLDT Enterprise is committed to simplifying the complex for the businesses and customers we serve, and we know it requires deep relationships with our own partners and service providers to enable us to deliver solutions that create real value,” PLDT Enterprise and international business group president Albert Mitchell Locsin said.
“We are excited to expand our partnership with CSG as their deep understanding of our unique requirements, unwavering commitment to our success and robust solution portfolio make them the ideal partner to lead this transformative journey in our enterprise business,” he added.
The revenue management solution can enable the PLDT unit to generate customer insights so it can respond to the changing needs of the clients.
The enterprise arm, with the aid of the technology, can “now provide a more cohesive and connected billing experience, even as its enterprise solutions portfolio diversifies, which drives brand loyalty and revenue growth.”
PLDT Enterprise is the corporate business unit of the Pangilinan-led telco player. It provides fixed-line, wireless and information and communications technology (ICT) to business owners seeking to digitize their operations.
In the first quarter, the unit saw its revenues grow by 5 percent to P11.8 billion given the rising demand for its services as enterprises pivot to ICT-backed business. INQ
