More Filipino companies are ramping up their data management efforts to generate insights that can make their operations more efficient in terms of processes and costs, according to information technology infrastructure company Kyndryl.
Xerxes Cooper, company president for strategic markets, told the Inquirer that more enterprises have been realizing the value of data to help them scale up their business and craft better cost schemes.
This was evidenced by a recent study commissioned by Kyndryl, which revealed that 48 percent of the Philippine organizations were prioritizing data and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy.
“I do expect that number is gonna rise,” he said.
Cooper said that “employing a data and AI strategy provides organizations with the foundation to garner insights from their data and turn information into knowledge,” which they can incorporate to improve customer experience, productivity and revenue generation.
“Across Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and the markets we operate in, companies are optimizing, automating and engaging with service providers to save money in today’s more restrained economy,” he said.
