This beautiful, historic city in northwest Spain has gained renown for a number of reasons.
Besides its exquisite gastronomy, the picturesque Pontevedra is a medieval marvel, having preserved much of the fascinating architecture built during periods of prosperity in earlier centuries. With its arcaded, cobbled streets, basilicas, noble houses, and traditional squares, Pontevedra is truly a charming corner of the past.

At the same time, however, Pontevedra has emerged in recent decades as a picture of modern urban transformation, as it reportedly “pioneered Europe’s car-free future.” There are also contemporary hotels, Michelin star restaurants, cruises, and a bustling nightlife.

Traditional and modern marry admirably in this city—a remarkable juxtaposition that has become the inspiration for this elegant, upscale integrated community, located in one of the most dynamic areas in the Philippines.

Beautiful interplay

The 34-ha Pontevedra Estate in Santa Rosa City, Laguna is a beautiful interplay between  modern and traditional, old world charm and new luxury—imbibing the rich history, culture and style of its namesake Spanish city.

This integrated estate by Brittany Corp., the luxury residential arm of the country’s largest homebuilder Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., has modern commercial spaces and districts as distinct neighborhoods, each having their own character and a main courtyard as a signature landmark.

The overall design and architecture reflect a timeless quality and an artistic heritage, as Brittany featured an elemental material palette such as warm rubble and cut stone, carved wood accents, and earthy terracotta roof tiles, as well as design elements like soft arches, outdoor patios, and stone terraces. It is simple yet functional, offering modern comforts imbued with a rustic charm. Finishes and surfaces likewise showcase artistry and craftsmanship.

Meanwhile, Pontevedra’s masterplan unveils interlocking lanes, plazas, and charming squares filled with cafes and unique restaurant concepts. Just like the Spanish city, Brittany’s Pontevedra is pedestrian-friendly and places you near practically everything you may need—encouraging future  residents to discover and explore the estate on foot.

You can take a stroll along the squares, the tree-lined avenues, parks, fountains and gardens, and enjoy the gastronomical offerings with the row of restaurants and pavement cafes within the estate. The commercial district meanwhile touts modern stone-and-glass buildings made lush with potted greenery.

Seven districts will comprise Pontevedra, each catering to different tastes and preferences of the modern urban dweller.

Envisioned to be the estate’s growth center, Vizcino by Pontevedra will meanwhile feature generously sized commercial areas for business and investment, that will be complemented by residential communities and transport hubs to cultivate a dynamic environment for ventures and entrepreneurial pursuits. This district is poised to bring to life a neighborhood that offers many shopping opportunities, restaurants, retail spaces, and office buildings.

Mansions

Mansions is the first premium mid-rise condominium development in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Bringing the charm and artisanal splendor of the Italian town of Valenza, Pontevedra’s 22 ha features an impressive array of homes in a charming neighborhood. With amenities such as a pool, pocket gardens, and a basketball court, Valenza offers families the luxury of living in a serene and secure community while still having access to the comforts of the metro.
