Globe postpaid users may confirm SIM registration in just one step

Postpaid subscribers of Globe Telecom can now confirm their SIM (subscriber identity module) card registration in one step.

The telco giant, in a statement on Thursday, said that postpaid customers can do so by just texting “SIMREG” to 8080 in response to Globe text asking them to confirm their details.

“By sending the SMS, individual Globe Postpaid and Platinum customers confirm to Globe the full name, date of birth, sex, address and proof of identification that they already submitted to Globe during postpaid application,” Globe explained.
