Healthcare services firm eyes expansion in PH
Legato Health Technologies is eyeing further expansion in the Philippines amid its rebranding and name change to Carelon Global Solutions, with plans of hiring more people to form its core talent pool of professionals this year for their local operations.
Nora Terrado, the local country head of Carelon Global Solutions Philippines, spoke of this expansion during a recent press conference in Makati City which marked the official launch of the company’s new name.
“What excites me is that we intend to create our core talent, our core team that we will train up to be health practitioners in business process management who are trained in technology, data analytics,” Terrado said.
“In terms of expansion, I would quote that our target is to build a core team of up to 1,500 in the next twenty-four months,” she said further.
The company executive said further that they started operations in the Philippines back in 2019, with more than 7,000 associates locally out of the 25,000 that they have worldwide.
“There is definitely an immediate plan for us to grow and growing is not just in numbers. So, it’s about the quality of the service and also transforming our services to align with the changes in the practice of healthcare,” said Terrado. “And to do that, we really have to invest high-quality, top talent who know the essence of the entire health care journey.”
