Romblon’s local favorite BIG1 opens more branches
Romblon’s homegrown favorite, BIG1, considered among locals as the crunchiest and tastiest fried chicken around, opens more branches in the province to cater to every family’s craving for delectable dishes.
From a pioneer store in Calatrava, BIG1 now has six branches in key towns in the province and is opening a seventh hub soon.
“We want to bring BIG1’s delectable chicken closer to our people that’s why we have ventured into putting up several more branches,” BIG1 founder Robert Fabella said. “Our people here are very industrious and hardworking. They deserve a delectable meal to share with their families.”
Fabella added that the BIG1 fried chicken’s crunch and taste, concocted from a secret recipe, makes it a standout in the market: “We have tasted many fried chicken brands before, but with BIG1, one will say he wants to come back for more.”
BIG1 also serves a variety of food items that have become instant favorites among customers—chicken sandwich, hamburger, spaghetti, milk tea, and juices.
The entry of BIG1 in the local food sector was a realization of a childhood dream for Fabella, a politician and businessman. His successful businesses include iPlay Marketing Inc. and Fabella Petrochem Corporation.
It has always been Fabella’s goal to venture into an industry that strikes at the heart of every Filipino— food. After a thorough study of the industry, added with his personal touch of creativity, BIG1 was born on July 9, 2020 in the midst of the pandemic.
What started as a store catering silog meals and burgers, BIG1 eventually evolved to serving its current bestseller, the BIG1 fried chicken.
“No trip to Romblon will ever be complete without a taste of BIG1 fried chicken, and our people here can attest to that,” Fabella ended.
