Converge ICT Solutions Inc., which is on track to meet its target population coverage this year, breached the 2-million mark for its port deployment goal in 2022 amid the growing demand for internet connectivity.
In a statement on Tuesday, the internet service provider said that its deployment of over 2 million fiber ports across the country last year had cemented its position as the “largest fiber-to-the-home network in the Philippines.”

With this record deployment of ports, we are ensuring high availability in more areas around the country,” Converge cofounder and CEO Dennis Anthony Uy said.
This year, the listed company expects to meet the 55-percent household coverage target. It was at 53 percent as of Sept. 30, 2022.
“Achieving our fiber rollout target is very much important for us to ensure that our resources are utilized effectively and to also support the growth of our residential subscriber base,” he added.
It earmarked P21 billion to P23 billion in capital expenditures last year to support its network rollout.
