Ayala expands Healthway with 3 more clinics

The Ayala Group is ramping up investments in healthcare as unit Healthway Philippines targets to open three new locations in Metro Manila and Cavite before the end of the year.

Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc. said the new locations were in Estancia Mall, Ayala Malls Cloverleaf and The District Imus.

“For 24 years, Healthway has been the healthcare provider of choice of millions of Filipinos,” Healthway president and CEO Jaime Ysmael said in a statement.

“Opening new multispecialty centers and expanding our range of services are a manifestation of our continuing commitment to reach out to more individuals, as well as elevate the standard of healthcare by offering a healthy and hopeful life to our community of patients,” he added.

The new clinics will offer a range of out-patient services, specialty consulting services, imaging, laboratory, diagnostics, ambulatory surgical services, dental services, physical therapy and an outpatient pharmacy within the premises.

Ayala said existing centers were also expanding, starting with a new dedicated wing for preventive care at Healthway Multi-Specialty Center Market! Market!

Established in 1998, Healthway has seven main branches in key cities in Metro Manila and a network of around 800 specialist doctors.
In 2019, Ayala acquired Healthway from Hong-Kong based HKR International Ltd., a diversified company with investments in real estate, hospitality, and healthcare.

According to Ayala, Healthway plays an integrated part in its broader healthcare group.
