After almost three years of the pandemic widely impacting markets, the challenge for companies—regardless if they are big or small—now as we move towards a freer world is how they can bounce back and recalibrate their operations towards growth.

Some Philippine companies have managed to do just that despite the circumstances. It is these companies that the Philippine Daily Inquirer and international market research firm Statista want to recognize and include in the list of the Philippines’ Growth Champions for 2023 to be published early next year.

Now in its third year, the Philippines’ Growth Champions will showcase companies that were able to post a robust growth over the past three years, including the pandemic-hit 2020 and 2021.

Celebrating these wins remains part of the Philippine Daily Inquirer’s thrust to champion Filipinos and tell their story, which explains its continuing partnership with Statista to put out a new list of admirable growth champions.

Talking about the initiative, Michael Bausch, Lead Analyst on Philippines Growth Champions said, “We are very excited to see which companies maintained their growth momentum and thrived despite yet another challenging business year in 2021.”

Kat Dalusong, Vice President and Group Sales Head at Inquirer Group of Companies, said, PDI is likewise thrilled to partner with Statista in recognizing these outstanding companies for the third year. “We have seen that even amid the pandemic, there are companies that were able to pivot and adjust to the new normal business environment despite the challenges. We are glad to recognize these companies through this list as we highlight their successes,” she said. Dalusong hopes the list inspires those in the business sector to continue to strive and be optimistic amid a global health crisis.

Last year, a Quezon City-based commerce and shopping corporation topped the list with a total revenue of P4.4B in 2020, marking a 30,136 percent absolute growth from its 2017 revenue
