Megaworld unit plans Cavite luxury estate

Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (Geri), subsidiary of Megaworld Corp., is projecting P1.3-billion sales from the first phase of its 41.8-hectare luxury village project in Cavite.

The new residential development called Prana Garden Villas will be built in Sherwood Hills, Trece Martires, Cavite. The turnover of the lots will commence in 2026.

Geri will offer 178 lots, ranging from 240 square meters (sqm) to 513 sqm.

The Zen-Balinese-inspired luxury village is about five minutes away from Governor’s Drive. It is less than two hours away from Makati and Fort Bonifacio and about an hour’s drive to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

“We are very excited to showcase the elegance of living amidst nature at Prana Garden Villas, which has been mindfully planned to blossom together with its surrounding landscape,” said Rachelle Peñaflorida, first vice president for sales and marketing at Megaworld Global-Estate Inc.

The property developer is allocating 40 percent of the village to green and open spaces.

The amenities include a grand clubhouse housing multilevel pool, mediation area and courtyard, among others; a fitness center; daycare; function area; and sand gardens.

“The village will also provide easy and convenient access to the Sherwood Hills Golf and Country Club since it will rise just beside the world-class leisure development,” Peñaflorida added.

The Megaworld subsidiary recently announced its plan to open a 1,200-seat convention facility called Boracay Newcoast Convention Center in its 150-hectare township in Boracay.

Geri pursued this project amid the return of travel and resurgence of meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) activities with the easing of mobility restrictions.

“With a view overlooking the Sibuyan Sea, the Boracay Newcoast Convention Center is perfect blend of a modern MICE facility and a tropical haven, right at the heart of our tourism township,” Megaworld Hotels & Resorts managing director Cleofe Albiso said earlier.

In its portfolio, Geri has eight integrated tourism, leisure estates and lifestyle communities covering over 3,300 hectares of land across the country. INQ
