Through the nation’s highs and lows, Avida Land has faithfully partnered with ordinary Filipino families to make homeownership come true. The brand began as a hopeful venture by Ayala Land. Primarily servicing the high-end market heading into the 1990s, the industry giant saw a burgeoning Filipino middle class–a demographic that characteristically worked to provide the best for their families. Their lists of priorities have always included ideal homes. Thus, Avida was born.

The company was incorporated in 1990 and after three years, it was able to deliver its first housing project, then meant for Ayala employees, in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

By 1994, it began commercial operations, launching and delivering housing projects across Batangas, Quezon, Rizal, and Cavite between 1995 and 2002. A year later, it entered the frontier of vertical developments with its first condominium project in Sucat, Paranaque. It was only upward since.

Agile and flexible to the evolving middle class, the big bet paid off: Avida is now a dominant player in the mid-market segment. Some 100 projects in 25 key locations have now provided homes to thousands of families and generated economic vibrance across the archipelago. That impressive portfolio is not the zenith nor the finish line for Avida. If its milestones over the past year are to prove anything, it’s that Avida will continue serving Filipinos ready for more.

New projects, high confidence

One aspect that exemplifies its dynamism and confidence in the nation is Avida’s product launches. The list begins with Parklane Settings Vermosa, a 12-ha project that was launched in October this year. The second residential development on Ayala’s expansive Vermosa estate in Cavite gives more people the chance to access exciting features like the Vermosa Sports Hub.

In February, Avida introduced Patio Madrigal, which marks its entry into the Roxas Boulevard area. This project faces the flourishing Bay Area. Offering a new chance at a vacation lifestyle, Avida also commenced Serin East Tagaytay’s Tower 4. Its fresh supply of units is an opportunity to enjoy a refreshing lifestyle.

In the first half of the year, Avida also launched Vermont Settings Alviera, a 20-ha house-and-lot project in Alviera, Ayala Land’s sustainable estate in Porac, Pampanga. It is secure and exclusive, and integrates spaces that will allow residents to commune with nature and socialize with neighbors. Avida will also launch in November the Phase 2 of Avida Settings Batangas in San Pascual town proper, less than 20 minutes from Batangas Port. The fully-fenced neighborhood elevates countryside living with a well-thought-out design.

Dedication to deliver

A builder’s character is proven by its persistence. It must have the dedication to see its vision through. Avida, through recent achievements, provides evidence that it deserves consumers’ trust.

A few months from now, dwellers will move into Avida Towers Cloverleaf Tower 2 on an eponymous 11-ha sustainable development. Quite recently, the builders topped off the addition to the Cloverleaf estate in Balintawak, a transit convergence point in Quezon City. Expect the same for Avida Towers Astrea, whose second tower was completed earlier in the year. Situated on a 1.3-ha property in Fairview, dwellers will find awesome vistas, a suburban vibe and unprecedented accessibility.

Not long after announcing its plans to build Patio Madrigal, Avida broke ground on the project site in May. In July, the brand also unveiled an outstanding 1-ha amenity area on Avida Towers Riala in Cebu IT Park. It is composed of a Grand Lawn on the upper ground floor with green spaces, fitness facilities and swimming pools; and an Amenity Deck on the first residential level, with some more pools and open areas.

Finally, last Sept. 23, Avida opened its showroom in Ayala Malls Manila Bay, a location enabling more prospective buyers to discover Avida’s diverse portfolio. The space is designed in the “Japandi” way (a combination of Scandinavian and Japanese sensibilities) to reflect the developer’s latest direction.

Approval from experts

Providing sure, secure, and sensible homes for its clientele, the quality of Avida’s work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Ayala Land Inc. and its residential brands like Avida proudly concluded 2021 with a haul of 209 international and local recognitions.Avida is contributing significantly to a prizewinning year for the conglomerate. At The Outlook 2022: Philippine Real Estate Awards in September, it brought home three awards, including the “Best Affordable Condo” for Avida Towers Ardane (Luzon) and Avida Towers Riala (VisMin).

One other win at The Outlook 2022 was the “Best Seller Support” special award, handed out to developers that launched initiatives to help sellers adapt to the pandemic. Avida also received at the 2022 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards a bronze in the “Innovation in Consumer Events” category for “HOMEPOSSIBLE” webinar series. Both speak to Avida’s responsiveness to the COVID-19 experience.

Digital adaption is not new to Avida. Its digital solutions go back to 2012, seeing that its clientele was increasingly tech-savvy. As a result, it established an online presence. That early investment paid off staggeringly over the pandemic as the company adapted quickly to a digital-first approach.

Aside from implementing distance learning for its sellers and organizing informative online events, Avida has ensured a stress-free buying experience. Avida 360 Showroom has provided a virtual walkthrough of properties. Questions can be addressed to the Avida website’s messenger.

The Avida website also provides various ways, both online and offline, to pay for reservations and monthly amortization. The brand partnered with tech companies to boost its e-services as well as with BPI’s Special Installment Plan. Avida and other Ayala brands are on GCash app’s GLife.
