Hyundai redefines premium car ownership

For consumers, the word “premium” has a special ring to it and whoever hears it, thinks of superior prestige.

This is precisely what Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (Hari), the authorized distributor of Hyundai brand of vehicles here in the Philippines, had in mind when the all-new 2011 Sonata, the company’s sleek and classy mid-size sedan, was introduced a couple of months ago.

It didn’t take long for consumers to acknowledge the all-new Sonata as one of the best cars in the mid-size market today as well as the most energy efficient in the non-hybrid mid-size category.

“The Sonata Masterpiece campaign combines the motoring lifestyle perks and services from Hyundai and the exclusive deals and premiums from EastWest Bank to give motorists the best of both financial and automotive worlds to lead them not just at the forefronts of driving, but also beyond the boundaries of mobility.”

Under this campaign, customers who purchased the all new Sonata and financed through the EastWest Bank Auto Loan, were provided with affordable and easy terms.

Customers who availed of EastWest Bank’s exclusive auto loan package for the all-new Sonata also enjoyed free one-year Comprehensive Insurance with Acts of God coverage, free three-year LTO registration, free Chattel Mortgage fee as well as free Hyundai Sonata specialty items.

Strengthen partnership

With the success of this three-month-long campaign, Hari decided to strengthen its partnership with the bank and launched the Hyundai MasterCard, dubbed as the only premium lifestyle motoring credit card.

The Hyundai MasterCard becomes another world-class feature under the Korean brand’s loyalty program in the Philippines, the One Hyundai Club.

The Hyundai MasterCard may be considered unique as it offers holders an exclusive 10 percent discount at all authorized Hyundai dealerships, a 3 percent rebate on fuel purchases at any gasoline station nationwide, a 24/7 roadside assistance through the One Hyundai Club Membership Card, global acceptance in more than 29 million establishments in over 300 countries wherever MasterCard is accepted, and an easy repayment terms.

The credit card holder may be able to enjoy 10 percent discount on preventive maintenance services including parts and labor as well as other selected accessories offered through the One Hyundai Club Membership Card, or when they use their Hyundai MasterCard.

P1,000 rebate

Apart from the 3 percent rebate, the credit card holder also enjoys a 0.5 percent rebate on other retail purchases at any merchant worldwide. They could in fact, earn as much as P1,000 rebate on every statement per month. These rebates may be redeemed as Hyundai vouchers, which can be used to pay for services, parts and labor, and accessories at all authorized Hyundai dealerships.

Just like any other MasterCard, the Hyundai MasterCard enables holder year-round special discounts and privileges from partner merchants (dining, shopping, travel, to health and fitness).

But what is unique about this credit card is the fact that being a member of the One Hyundai Membership Card, you could earn points for purchasing a Hyundai car, genuine parts, or accessories, for availing of Hyundai’s Best C.A.R.E. services and for accomplishing Hyundai questionnaires and online surveys (points could be redeemed for exclusive items from the Hyundai Brand Collection and Hyundai Lifestyle Rewards Basket).
