Worldbex once again returns on ground after two years to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Over the years, Worldbex has fulfilled its promise of building a legacy and quality exposition for everyone.
For its silver anniversary, Worldbex chose to go bigger and bolder. This gives guests more reason to visit Worldbex 2022 to experience face-to-face interactions and network with the industry’s innovators. Worldbex presents different activities that provide exclusive industry updates along with business and networking opportunities.
This year, Worldbex offers new activities such as The World, an immersive interactive exhibit showcasing the legacy built by Worldbex through the years. This state-of-the-art display is yet another innovative experience.
Visitors will also be welcomed by the first Philippine Garden Festival. A lush exhibit of plants and flowers that is beautifully landscaped by world-class landscape artists to promote greener architecture across the Philippines. This exhibit is in partnership with LACISAP.
Some of the country’s renowned interior designers reunite at the Interior Designers’ Gallery as they showcase the latest trends and styles in the design industry. I collaborated with Bianca de Guzman, head designer of Biara Inc. for my booth.
Established in 1998, Biara Inc. has earned its reputation for manufacturing high-quality, sophisticated pieces that fit into both retro and contemporary homes. Its pieces are striking yet simple, bold yet neutral, and modern yet traditional.
Each design is carefully studied to give the right balance between function and aesthetics. No two are alike as every piece is originally designed and carefully crafted by a team of skilled artisans. Taking pride in workmanship, from conceptualization to execution and attention to detail, Biara truly delivers quality furniture that will last a lifetime.
Walk through the City of Tomorrow and Architects’ Gallery to see the latest scale models from different architectural firms as they showcase future developments in the country. These displays focus on the shared vision of building a better future for the country’s infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the Project Design Competition is an inter-school competition for young aspiring architect students in the country, with this year’s theme, “The Arena: Envisioning Multifunctional Space for Filipino Athletes.”
One of the exhibits that visitors can look forward to is the Worldbex Lab, a collection of ground-breaking products and technologies that have proven to be at the forefront of innovations and ingenuity.
The 25th edition of Worldbex runs all weekend. The event continues to stake its claim as the leading building and design exposition in Southeast Asia. Experience the legacy it built when you visit Worldbex 2022, which runs until today (Sept. 3) at the World Trade Center Manila and SMX Convention Center Manila.
