Job Title: Programme Analyst Adolescent and Youth

Key Responsibilities:
- Under the overall guidance of the Representative, with direct supervision from the National Programme Officer for Reproductive Health, and within the context of UNFPA Country Programme with the Government of The Philippines and the new UNFPA Strategic Plan 2022-25, the Programme Analyst Adolescent and Youth will work on implementation of UNFPA’s global strategies as they relate to young people in the policy and programme context of The Philippines.
- The Programme Analyst Adolescents and Youth substantively contributes to the effective management of UNFPA activities in the areas of adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights and other issues related to the UNFPA mandate.
- S/he will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of UNFPA interventions in relation to youth programs.
- S/he analyses and assesses relevant political, social and economic trends and provides substantive inputs to project formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, joint programming initiatives and national development frameworks.
- S/he works in close partnership with other units in the CO, UN Agencies and APRO.
- S/he establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with counterparts in government, non-government, civil society and development partners, including multilateral and bilateral donor agencies
