Travel and Leisure Magazine, a New York based magazine has named three of the top destinations in the Philippines as one of 25 Best Islands of the World.

“PTAA is proud that once again Boracay is chosen as one of the Best Island of the World this 2022. The well-known tropical atmosphere, its famous crystal blue waters and white sands truly makes Boracay an unforgettable summer paradise and will always be one of the Philippines pride”. Boracay, has never stopped promoting and collaborates with different LGU’s and travel association despite of being the country’s premier destination, creating promotions and other activities that will surely make tourists and travelers not to forget this beautiful place”. Michelle Taylan, PTAA President mentioned as she congratulates the Malay Tourism.

The pandemic and the recent closure of the island for rehabilitation contributes to its allure as all the natural resources and habitats renewed the charm and attractiveness of the place. More tourists have arrived since the LGU’S lifted and softened the restrictions in going to the island.

Aside from Travel and Leisure, TIME has also included Boracay as one the 50 extraordinary destinations to explore in 2022.
