Metro Pacific Tollway Corp. (MPTC) is eyeing to open the 3.9-kilometer Silang, Aguinaldo interchange of its Cavite-Laguna Expressway (Calax) before the year ends.

The Calax subsection, which connects the expressway’s operational stations from Mamplasan, Laguna to Aguinaldo Highway in Silang, Cavite, is 56 percent complete.

Ongoing work for the new interchange include drainage and bridge constructions and excavation and roadway earthworks.
