Megaworld eyes P6.5B sales from township in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines—Billionaire Andrew Tan’s Megaworld Corp. is tapping the same design group behind Atlantis The Palm in Dubai and Shangri-La Maldives for a luxury resort-inspired residential project on its 140-hectare Maple Grove township in General Trias, Cavite province.
Megaworld said in a statement the company Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo would design the 22-hectare Maple Grove Park Village, a residential community with 377 lots. Turnover to buyers was scheduled in 2026.
Megaworld said the project is expected to generate revenues of about P6.5 billion through the sale of lots ranging from 280 to 500 square meters.
The village will also feature multiple gardens, including an aromatherapy garden and spaces for fruit-bearing trees, herbs and vegetable plots.
“The Village will be strategically located in the more secluded part of Maple Grove to give residents utmost exclusivity and privacy, while still allowing them to have access to all the modern conveniences that the township has to offer,” Eugene Em Lozano, Megaworld first vice president for sales and marketing, said in the statement.
The builder called Maple Grove Cavite’s first modern central business district. Apart from horizontal lots, the township will have office towers, a lifestyle mall and transport hub.
