It’s practically every city dweller’s dream: an address where you are greeted each day by views of abundant, green flora and calming, blue skies and open water, where your body and mind would feel energized and recovered upon waking up, fit to face another day ahead.
“Spend some time outdoors, get some daily dose of sun for vitamin D, breathe in some fresh air,” were often advised by doctors as we lived through a health crisis the past two years. There’s no denying that there’s something about being surrounded by nature that reinvigorates and heals.
Greener is better
Even prior to the pandemic, health experts would always emphasize the innumerable benefits that nature has on one’s health and well-being. A study by a team from the European Centre for Environment and Human Health at the University of Exeter found that spending at least two hours a week outdoors and in “natural environments (such as parks, woodlands and beaches) is associated with better health and well-being.” It also states that there are also “lower probabilities of cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, asthma hospitalization, mental distress and ultimately mortality” when living in greener urban areas.
It is not surprising how people now have a growing preference for communities which offer parks and green, open spaces. Here, you’re guaranteed with cleaner, fresher air amid a community that’s teeming with verdant trees and plants. Expansive open spaces with scenic greenery also inspires us to allocate some of our time each day walking outdoors, a departure from the dreaded sedentary lifestyle.

That tropical, world-class vibe
Tailored to bring in the aloha state’s vibe and atmosphere, Mi Casa features spaces reminiscent of Hawaii’s love for gathering. The towers’ curving forms, rounded edges, and subdued colors bring to mind the island’s breathtaking waters, waves, and shoreline. The complex’s modern tropical landscapes promise to suit Filipino outdoor living with passive gardens that give that lush island feel.
