Digitel, Sun Cellular are Frost & Sullivan’s best telecom and mobile service providers

MANILA, Philippines – Digital Telecommunications Philippines Inc. (Digitel) bagged the Philippines Telecom Service Provider of the Year Award while
its mobile subsidiary, Sun Cellular, the Philippines Mobile Service Provider of the Year award from Frost & Sullivan.

Digitel and Sun Cellular were cited for their 18 percent and 25 percent revenue growths respectively.

Sun Cellular currently has more than 16 million subscribers and 7,000 cell sites throughout the country. It continues to pour in investments to widen its scope of services in the market.

The Frost & Sullivan Awards are presented to companies that show best practices and outstanding performance in areas such as market leadership, innovation and business strategies.

Digitel and Sun Cellular are now part of the PLDT Group.
