MANILA, Philippines — Petro Gazz on Wednesday announced that it will implement a fuel price rollback from March 10-13.
In an advisory, Petro Gazz said it will slash the price of diesel by P5.85 per liter and gasoline by P3.60 per liter starting 6 a.m. Thursday, March 10, until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, March 13.
According to the fuel company, it decided to reduce the prices of its fuel products to “minimize the impact to motorists since we are expecting another round of oil price hike next week.”
The Department of Energy (DOE) has previously warned the public of a significant rise in fuel costs amid soaring prices in the world market due to the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, one of the world’s largest producers of oil.
