20 Years of success: Get to know the people behind Miguelito’s International Corporation

Since its inception in 2002, Miguelito’s International Corporation (MIC) has grown from selling food premixes into becoming one of the industry leaders in franchising and manufacturing here in the Philippines.

Its vision-driven founders, couple Michelle and Marlon Aman, wanted to provide the Filipinos with high-quality products and offer profitable businesses to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Before MIC was born, Marlon, a mechanical engineering graduate, worked as bank employee while Michelle, a business administration graduate, ventured into various small businesses like the operation of LPG and ice cream stores among others.

When they started Miguelito’s International Corporation, the Aman couple focused on selling food premixes which carried their Miguelito’s Soft Ice Cream brand. After years of hard work, they found an opportunity to venture into food cart franchising.

Today, MIC is a known leader in the Food Cart Business and is helping small and medium Filipino entrepreneurs.

With its growth, MIC also became well recognized for its knowledge, expertise, hard work, and strong focus on customer care.

Even during the pandemic, the Amans still found an opportunity to continue MIC’s growth.

While many of the businesses incurred losses, MIC executives thought of coming up with online shops as they also found means to ensure safer and more convenient payment options for their beloved clients.

They also started to offer cheaper franchise business concepts as they formed partnerships with delivery service providers to continue to provide quality products while their costumers stay at the comfort of their homes.

The company has been in operation for over two decades and value forming collaborative relationships that benefit both MIC and its customers.

MIC is currently involved in the manufacture of premixes for kakanin (local delicacies), beverages, seasonings, and soft ice cream and they also export to selected countries such as Japan, Dubai, Australia and the United States to name a few.

The couple’s son, Miguel, recently joined the MIC team as its Business Development Manager. He handles international clients and has been very successful in closing big accounts.

MIC intends to expand not only its network but also its business concepts in international franchising and to showcase its best-seller concepts such as Miguelitos Ice Cream, Hyped Mangoes and Avocado Locco.

As the company celebrates its 20th anniversary, the Amans would like to extend their gratitude to all their suppliers for trusting their company and for helping them to become an industry leader.

They are also very grateful for the support of their customers and franchisees.

Looking for forward, the Amans are committed to continue to work hard to make sure that they only provide high quality products and services to their clients.

The Aman couple also expressed their appreciation to their valued, talented, passionate and very committed employees and their very trusted Vice President Felma Laraño and Assistant Vice President Morris John Aguilar for serving as the backbone of their company.

And finally, their precious children Miguel, Micah and Marielle for being their motivation to always thrive.
