“It will be undertaken with traffic and lane management measures in place to ensure minimal lane closures and reduce travel delays,” NLEx Corp. said in a statement.

“Also, road signs and other warning devices will be installed to guide motorists passing the repair sites,” it added.

NLex Corp. said the program would also boost safety for motorists using NLEx and SCTEx.

“Safety and convenience must go hand in hand in order to maintain a high level of customer experience,” said NLEx Corp. president and general manager J. Luigi L. Bautista in the statement.

“While we have frequent road inspections and repairs, this yearly program is more comprehensive and will vastly improve the quality of our roads for the benefit of thousands of motorists plying our expressways every day,” Bautista said.

Aside from the road repairs, the tollway company is currently upgrading the Candaba Viaduct, San Matias Bridge, and Pasig-Potrero Bridge. NLEx Corp. is owned by infrastructure giant Metro Pacific Investments Corp.
