Property developer Primex Corp. has topped off the group’s P5-billion 50-story mixed-use building at the corner of Edsa and Connecticut Street, now the tallest skyscraper in the Greenhills area of San Juan City.
Developed by its subsidiary Primex Realty Corp., Primex Tower is a “grade A” Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified building that broke ground in July 2018.
“This new mixed-used tower represents the model for our future developments,” Karlvin Ang, executive vice president and director of the Primex Group, said in a press statement on Tuesday.
“The topping off ceremony brings the Primex Tower a step closer to full completion. Soon, locators will be able to enjoy not only its accessible location but also its panoramic 360-degree view of the whole metropolis,” he said.
In construction, topping off refers to the ceremonial placing of the last beam to signify structural completion.
“The COVID-19 pandemic during the past two years proved to be a challenging adversary for the whole nation, but we at Primex took it head-on and with the dedication and hard work of all the people involved, from the tower’s design to the development and construction process, this iconic building has come to life,” Ang added.
Primex Tower stands on a 1,944-square meter lot bounded by Edsa, Connecticut and Florida Streets.
The luxury building will have 29 floors dedicated for commercial and office space that are open for lease or sale. INQ
