Security Bank gets top marks for pandemic services
Security Bank is the “most recommended” transaction bank as well as the “most helpful” in the Philippines during this COVID-19 pandemic, consumer rating and survey site BankQuality said.
The BankQuality 2021 Corporate Survey on Transaction Banks was powered by financial magazine, The Asian Banker, covering institutional respondents across Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
“Being recognized by BankQuality as the ‘Most Recommended Transaction Bank’ and the ‘Most Helpful Transaction Bank During COVID-19 in the Philippines’ is proof of our commitment to #BetterBanking service excellence despite the pandemic,” Security Bank executive vice president and transaction banking group head John Cary Ong said in a press statement on Friday.
“As we work towards becoming the most customer-centric bank in the country, this award fuels us to continue to innovate as we reach more businesses in this time of crisis,” he added.
The survey was conducted between April and July last year, in tandem with The Asian Banker Transaction Finance Survey. The surveys corroborated each other’s findings.
With the survey conducted amid the COVID-19 pandemic, it captured the shift in corporate behavior and perception of service given the measures that transacting banks introduced during the pandemic.
