MANILA, Philippines—Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding its domestic network further starting on Dec. 16 to serve demand for added flights.
PAL said in a statement it will begin flying thrice daily trips from Manila to Iloilo, or 21 flights per week.
For Manila to Bacolod, PAL will increase flights to 16 times per week from the previous nine times.
“We are grateful that our national and local government authorities are opening up more travel opportunities following their success in bringing down COVID levels around the country,” said Josen Perez de Tagle, PAL vice president for corporate communications, in a statement.
“These go hand in hand with the continued push of the DOTr to increase arrival limits and open more international gateways for inbound travel of our OFWs and other Filipinos, allowing us to land in Subic, Bohol, Davao, Cebu and Clark in addition to Manila,” he added.
