Tycoon Lucio Tan-led Eton Properties Philippines Inc. on Thursday unveiled its first residential offering in urban township project Eton Centris in Quezon City, banking on the growing foot traffic in the mixed-use estate.
In a briefing, Eton president Danilo Ignacio said the first of two master-planned towers of One Centris Place would soon rise in the 12-hectare Eton Centris.
Ignacio said the project would be an “affordable” residential offering, with monthly amortization starting at P12,000.
Eton is selling one-bedroom units (23 to 29 square meters) for at least P2.1 million per unit while two-bedroom units (37 to 45 sqms) would sell for at least P3.6 million each.
“One Centris Place promises residents a comfortable lifestyle in an exceptional location. The project answers increasing demand for a strategically located address in Quezon City,” he said.
The first tower of Eton Centris will be a 26-story offering of 597 units. The residential units are expected to be turned over to buyers by 2015. The sale and delivery of 714 units of the second tower will depend on the progress of the first tower.
“The key here is affordability,” Ignacio said, noting that Eton was focusing on building strategically located residential projects targeting end-users.
“At the end of the day, there’s not enough land (in the Metropolis) for people, and if you want to have your own house and lot, you have to go far. Traffic (situation) will not improve and this is a good alternative to renting.”
This address is seen suitable for young professionals, newlyweds and early nesters. Its ground floor will house retail stores while amenities like swimming pools for children and adults, multipurpose area, landscaped gardens, children’s play areas and gym will be available.
A walkway will connect the upcoming condominium to Centris Station, a two-level transit-oriented commercial center that is directly linked to the MRT station, allowing tenants quick access to schools, hospitals, malls, business centers, government offices and entertainment spots.
Anchored by SM Hypermarket, Centris Station offers a mix of specialty food outlets, specialty stores and service-oriented shops.
