Going green. Robinsons Land sees new prospects for workspaces of the future.

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), the country’s premier property developer, heeds the call of the times as a socially responsible company striving to create a better future for every Filipino.

Through its new projects, RLC has placed stronger focus on developing lasting and sustainable communities that will help protect the environment.

Its Bridgetowne Destination Estate, a premier integrated mixed-use development located at the heart of the C5-IT corridor along Libis, Quezon City, is a testament to this. Bridgetowne espouses the LIVE-WORK-PLAY-INSPIRE lifestyle through a dynamic mix of real estate developments that empower sustainable living. Among the properties that will rise within the destination estate are premium, Grade A office buildings.

The operational office developments within Bridgetowne, are all LEED-certified (LEED: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) by the US Green Building Council. These office towers were carefully planned and designed to include sustainability features to enable the efficient consumption of water, electricity, and light.

Strategically situated in select buildings are landscaped areas for plants to grow and help absorb carbon emissions. They are also equipped with bike racks and shower rooms to encourage people to bike or walk to work. This way, tenants are assured that they have facilities in the building that will allow them to freshen up, and get changed before they report to their respective offices.

In addition, a rainwater collection system has also been put in place. It recycles rainwater for use in toilets, in watering plants, and for other general cleaning purposes. Each of the buildings also has efficient toilet fixtures and an advanced Building Management System (BMS) with automatic water metering systems, which ensure judicious use of water resources.

By occupying green buildings, tenants are also able to reduce their carbon footprints.

Indeed, RLC’s sustainable developments do not just help protect the environment, they also help tenants succeed in their respective sustainability journeys.

In the end, RLC aims to provide future generations the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of its labor. It strongly believes that achievements in economic success or becoming an industrialized nation should not be at the expense of the environment.

Instead, success should be the catalyst for sustainable growth and development.

“We, at RLC, take ESG very seriously. We innovate and improve the design of our properties to minimize our environmental footprint. This is in line with our goal of building sustainable cities and communities,” Mybelle GoBio, RLC Senior Vice President, said.

As a responsible corporate citizen, RLC is doing its part in creating a stronger, sustainable, and resilient environment. In the process, it is enabling the tenants of its green and LEED-certified office buildings to tread the same path.
