Last year, Globe mobilized a COVID-19 taskforce to plan and execute the company’s initiatives in ensuring continuity of operations and securing the physical and mental health of employees as well as that of its contractors. It developed risk mitigation strategies to enable the company to adapt to the changing conditions brought about by the global health crisis.

The telco likewise invested approximately P35 million for a dedicated RT- PCR laboratory called Globe Lab which was certified by the Department of Health (DOH), to enable regular COVID-19 testing and screening for all employees and third party partners. The facility has a capacity to conduct 10,000 tests monthly.
